Corrector of alkaline soils: when it is incorporated into the soil, the sulfur is oxidized and subsequently hydrolyzed to sulfuric acid, which attacks the carbonates releasing the blocked cations and causing a drop in pH. Apply manually or by mechanical means incorporating the soil to favor bacterial oxidation. The doses vary according to the type of application and the analytical levels of the parameter that we wish to correct. N.P.
Corrector of sodium soils: in calcareous soils with problems of sodicity, the release of calcium compounds releases this element that displaces sodium from the exchange complex and is eliminated by leaching. Sulfur deficiency corrector: mainly in crops that require this element in high quantities such as cruciferous, leguminous, beet and other plant species usable by its root.
