Corrector of alkaline soils: when it is incorporated into the soil, the sulfur is oxidized and subsequently hydrolyzed to sulfuric acid, which attacks the carbonates releasing the blocked cations and causing a drop in pH. Apply manually or by mechanical means incorporating the soil to favor bacterial oxidation. Corrector of sodium soils: in calcareous soils with problems of sodicity, the release of calcium compounds releases this element that displaces sodium from the exchange complex and is eliminated by leaching.
